This is a great reproduction of the original. The chairs are curved backrest made of premiun reinforced plastic. Attached are soft fabric cushioned seat with breathable fabric, the cushions aren't removeable, but there are cushion covers that can be purchased to change the color.
The seat shell and the pedestal base are connected with a swivel system, so the chair can swivel 360 degrees. The heavy-duty pedestal base is made from sturdy iron for heavy-weight support up to 220lbs. They are pre-owned, but come in excellent condition, one chair has a matt finish at the bottom, while the others have a high gloss bottom. It isn't noticeable when they are all together, if you are only buying one, there is no issue either gloss or matt, both are great.
